Oh look, a new menu:

There's some frame rate issues with this recording but trust that it works fine in motion. Not much else to say as of now but the next version should have much better presentation. Music used is The Fire Is Gone.

Here's a look at the scene:

Also this is still a work in progress. Clearly lol.

Hey everyone, just coming in to state what the plan for the MCN project is. I said I was gonna take a break from development but hell, it’s summer break and I don’t have to do my second year of college quite yet. I don’t have much better to do really so I might as well do this, y’know? But that’s enough of that, I wanna speak on the goals of the next build for a bit. The next update should include Scrap Baby, Mangle and Nightmare Fredbear. One of these characters is already implemented into the game, now just in the polishing phase.

As for other changes, more music is on the agenda along with a display at the start of nights to show the song that’s currently playing. Controller support is also being considered along with a Linux/Steam Deck port. Discord rich presence, more framework fixes, a title screen, customizable AI and robust options along with a dedicated HTML build and even more visual improvements are also on the way. That’s a lot to add in one update! But the characters outside of Mangle are really easy to implement. Scrap Baby is in the polishing phase and Nightmare Fredbear has a baby mechanic. Mangle would be a bit more difficult but I’ve had some work done on them before so I know what to expect.

This means a lot of the extra additions are mostly polishing and finishing up certain aspects. You already CAN adjust the AI in code, it’s just not something you can do in game. Godot already has solid controller support, I’d just need to map a few things and a dedicated HTML build just removes some content that’s unnecessary for it. It’s really not a lot. I dunno when this’ll be done but hopefully alpha 1.1 holds people over until then. It shouldn’t take too long :). Also three stars!! We’re not quite good yet but we’re almost there!!
